The Valley Youth Orchestra is a board-run, 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing a youth orchestra to Colorado’s Western Slope communities. Our mission is to provide a youth orchestra experience in a nurturing environment with a focus on peer mentoring and community engagement to rural communities in western Colorado.
In addition, we perform at local schools through our Strings in School program, provide chamber ensemble performances in the surrounding communities, offer masterclasses, and collaborate with other regional arts organizations.
